Just got my Whitetail Pro Str Crossbow in yesterday. Lighter than the other bow I using which was a Centerpoint sniper. Waiting on the right moment to squeeze the trigger. Will be upgrading to a CCD by the end of the season. The only thing would have been nice was limb dampeners.
I've had this crossbow for several years. It has maintained excellent fps rate and accuracy. My longest hunting shot has been 33 yards. Dead on accurate. I would recommend it to anyone that is considering a crossbow.
I had this bow for a few years now the string popped off the cam after the first few shots being my first crossbow I wasn't sure what I had done but after seeing some testers had that same effect I found a bow shop to fix it and haven't had any issues since absolutely a wonder bow extremely comfortable and wonderful to shoot I've shot as far as 70 yards just shooting around the yard and hit every shot would recommend and have to everyone I could
All it took was one screw to put it together out of the box. Came already sighted in and incredibly accurate. I got it on the 50% off sale but even for the full price if $700 I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a great crossbow

This is the first crossbow that I have purchased. Used this same model on a previous hunt with friends. Loved it then and am very pleased with the one I purchased. I am looking forward to taking it hunting this season. It has great features and shoots great. I would highly recommend Barnett and this model in particular.
These are heavy, and solid. Not sure what to make of the marketing copy equating them with .38 caliber shells, but those squirrels will be no match for them, I feel confident.

Great product so far. Customer service was extramly helpful. I have not used this yet for hunting purposes yet and this is my first crossbow. Have only used this for target training so far but i am very comfortable with how it shoots. Would definetely recommend to others.
My only complaint would be that the bolts are rare and specifically designed for this crossbow ONLY. After going through the two that came with the order had to buy new ones right off the bat and figure out how to fix the two originals to cut back on the high price cost of buying new ones all the time just to practice with.
I bought one this year to get out in the woods for bow season. Was able to harvest my biggest buck to date with this crossbow.

I bought my raptor in 2024 just before Christmas and have taken two deer with it so far. It is a nail driver! I love the speed and power. I have noticed the string and cables on the raptor model take a beating so I be plan to replace mine every year. I made my own press in about 30 minutes with some lumber and bolts. I changed out cables and string in 15 minutes the first time. I expect it will be much quicker the next time. The photo shows my bow in the press I made in case anyone wants to copy/improve it. Overall the Hyper Raptor has been a great bow for me so far and Barnett support has been easy to deal with via email and friendly.
This crossbow is amazing I've had it almost two years and I've harvested two deer with it so far. My dad has a Barnett and he says he loves it.
I’m getting back into hunting after many years. A compound bow just was not going to work for me anymore so I decided to go with a crossbow. This crossbow had what I wanted at a great price point. The assembly was straight forward and I was able to sight it in relatively quickly. I have no plans to take a shot over 20 yds so that’s where I set it. I paired the headhunter arrow with the game crusher broad head and surprisingly the target impact was so close to the field point impact, it needed no adjustment. 3rd time out, I took a 7 point under ten yards from my ground blind. He Mule kicked, ran, and crashed about 20 yds away. You could say that I am satisfied with this crossbow.
