I have friends come over on Tuesdays for different competitions, i.e. knife and tomahawk throwing, Atlatl throwing and pellet gun competitions. So adding and crossbow to our activities seem like a natural choice. I read some the reviews where people complain about the sight. It works fine. Follow the directions for sighting in and it's no problem. We seem to be able to shoot 3"-4" groups from 15 yards with no problem. This is not a toy, it's well made and works very well. We shot well over 300 bolts with no mechanical failures. It's strong and most of all IT'S FUN!
These bolts are super tough. My friend shoots them into plywood by accident. No breakage. I bought the field points and the bolt flies straight and true. The plastic fletch holds up really well which is good because go into the target about 4 1/2" and you have to pull the bolt by the fletch. The bolts are holding up really well.
I have a friend who can't seem to hit a 36x36 target. Consequently, he shoots into my plywood backstop. The broadheads go full depth into 3/4" plywood. Ouch! After digging them out they are still as good a new. These are one tough broadhead!
The Havoc slingshot was exactly what I had imagined it to be. It works quite well, is accurate, and is most certainly powerful!
I have a Excalibur crossbow I bought years ago for close to $1,000 this little $200 crossbow has all the same features is 25 ft per second less but it will get the job done. Bow hunting and archery is all about getting close to your Quarry and making a perfect shot not about how fast the arrow can get there if you can shoot a deer at 50 yards but can't hit the vitals you just lost the deer or the bolt this little bow is perfect for getting close and has more than enough power for any deer in the woods if you are looking for a crossbow that's economical and simplistic this is crossbow for you trust me I've used recurves for over 50 years great job Barnett and a great crossbow really is a little tack driver

I picked this up because I was tired of banging up my bow, and this thing works perfect fits nice, very sturdy. Would definitely recommend especially when they took $50 off. Love you guys, thanks.
I had a Hyper Raptor before this and had some issues which Barnett was quick to make right. Got this bow as a replacement and have loved it since! The fit and feel in your hands is amazing. The speed is ridiculous and the price tag is even better! You can't beat a Barnett triggertech trigger either!
Each year this lineup seems to get better!
Went on fine, not sure why original went bad so fast...need to get a bow press
Very accurate arrows, shooting a quarter at 40 yds no problem
