Had a recruit crossbow, sitting in my blind late December and heard a snap. First thought was a deer coming behind me. Come to find out the upper limb broke for whatever reason. I was not looking to get a new crossbow. I took it to an archery shop to see what it would cost to repair, the estimate was $230-$250. I decided to contact Barnett about the crossbow. They informed me of the trade-in deal they had going on. When I did the math, I ended getting a new crossbow for $245. Now, I had to pay to send my old crossbow back to Barnett which was $91. With the discount and shipping cost it cost me an extra $100 for a new crossbow. It would have cost me $250 to fix the old one. I feel Barnett did me right. If nothing was done, I could assure you I would have not purchased another Barnett crossbow.
I have a xp 370 for the last year . I have no complaints I love the bow.
I am very disappointed with the fact that I have to pull the cocking rope handles very far apart when cocking the crossbow to keep from taking the crossbow off of safety when I release the tension from cocking the crossbow. The hooks come in contact with the safety when you let off after cocking each time. I`ve owned 2 other crossbows and shot many other brands and never had to be careful that I would take the crossbow off safety after cocking. Poor design and the safety should be harder to put in the fire position. Safety of the hunter should be more important than the ease of the safety being switched to the fire position. The scope that came with the crossbow package was very poor as well.
Amazing product, super accurate with the distance great bow glad noone was hurt. How to repair? Possibly replace fairly new and expensive for myself but worth it.

I bought one this year to get out in the woods for bow season. Was able to harvest my biggest buck to date with this crossbow.

I bought my raptor in 2024 just before Christmas and have taken two deer with it so far. It is a nail driver! I love the speed and power. I have noticed the string and cables on the raptor model take a beating so I be plan to replace mine every year. I made my own press in about 30 minutes with some lumber and bolts. I changed out cables and string in 15 minutes the first time. I expect it will be much quicker the next time. The photo shows my bow in the press I made in case anyone wants to copy/improve it. Overall the Hyper Raptor has been a great bow for me so far and Barnett support has been easy to deal with via email and friendly.
This crossbow is amazing I've had it almost two years and I've harvested two deer with it so far. My dad has a Barnett and he says he loves it.
I’m getting back into hunting after many years. A compound bow just was not going to work for me anymore so I decided to go with a crossbow. This crossbow had what I wanted at a great price point. The assembly was straight forward and I was able to sight it in relatively quickly. I have no plans to take a shot over 20 yds so that’s where I set it. I paired the headhunter arrow with the game crusher broad head and surprisingly the target impact was so close to the field point impact, it needed no adjustment. 3rd time out, I took a 7 point under ten yards from my ground blind. He Mule kicked, ran, and crashed about 20 yds away. You could say that I am satisfied with this crossbow.

The raptor soft case is a little expensive, but it is high quality and worth the price. It fits my crossbow perfectly. I will say, you have to slide the adjustable stock all the way in. The only negative is that the arrow pouch doesn't fit very well when the crossbow is in place. I was a little sad when I first got it. the case came all folded up in the package. It took a minute to get it to lay out flat. All things considered, I am very happy with it.
I am a big fan of luminock products. They are simple and work perfect every time.
