Quality in an affordable user-friendly design

After watching a few YouTube videos, I purchased the Wildcat CRX on sale from Optics Planet. I assembled it using blue thread locker on some of the bolts. I also upgraded the optic to a Killer Instinct Speedring scope and have found that Slick Trick broadheads on Headhunter Strobe lighted bolts group consistently and shoot great. It has been an excellent shooter and well worth the money. Thanks Barnett for a great recurve crossbow option.

Broke the original quiver that came with my Recruit, this is a perfect replacement. It attached in seconds, no issues.

Love my Demun

I picked up a Demun tri-strike from Academy Sports in Madison, Ms about a year ago. I’ve shot it multiple times and others have too. Shoots very well for small game and just sport. Once you dial in the sights, it very accurate considering it’s a crossbow pistol. Only gripe I have….is local access to bolts and wanting to be able to change the heads on the bolts. Otherwise, great tool!

Outstanding -Except…..

A great weapon which I bought after upgrading from my old C5 Wildcat. All is great and it’s lighter! However the plastic device (two small arms) used to hold up the hooks on the cranking device cable are very weak and brittle. Both of mine broke off so I took off that piece and drilled a small hole completely through where the arms snapped off. Then got a heavy duty coat hanger and cut about a 2 1/2-3” length and pushed it through. It works well and when it bends, I just slide another piece in. Likely a better selection would likely be a small stainless rod cut to the same lengths. I will do that once I use up the coat hanger pieces I made.

Quirky Bow To Own

Good enough bow but it lacks product support and accessories. There are some quarks with this bow like the bolts and nocks. Good luck getting replacement nocks as I needed one and was told sorry since they are glued in you have to buy new bolts, they do not offer a case for this bow either. The 22" bolts make it hard to find a case that isn't as much as the bow itself. Aftermarket support is dismal as you can't go into Cabela's or other retailers and find support for these bows. De-cocking bolts are not reusable either, so you are stuck with continually buying new ones. Just a hard bow to own but shoots well.
