The Cauldron Jig is a 3 vane advanced fletching system. It provides the right amount of pressure for excellent adhesion, and you can fletch all three vanes at once so it's a big time-saver. The snap-in inserts are easy to change and don't require tools, so you can switch from a three degree right helical to a one degree right in no time. With this jig you can leave the nock on your arrow so you don't need to change the center post - simply twist the dial at the bottom of the jig to rotate your arrow for perfect indexing. The Cauldron can fletch plastic vanes up to 5" length. The Cauldron pressure ring is adjustable with a single twist to accommodate micro, standard, and large arrow diameters. Cleaning is easy: the inserts can be soaked in acetone for an hour to remove instant glue residue.
The Crossbow Edition includes 1 & 3 degree right & left inserts only and will accept any size crossbow bolts.

Purchased this crossbow in 2022. Set it up to shoot Headhunter arrows with a total weight of 419 grains. This puts my speed at approximately 325 fps. and it has taken four buck in four seasons. Extremely accurate and completely reliable. All four deer had pass thru’s and all four expired under 100 yards. Going into my fifth season soon and did have all strings replaced several weeks ago. This is a great quality crossbow that is worth every penny.
I recently received my Barnett tee shirt and i love it great quality.
I bought this crossbow knowing I would love it. I have unboxed the crossbow and put it all together. Took it out and sent some bolts down range. Wow, 410 fps is fast, and QUIET. This is my 4th crossbow from Barnett.
I just purchased my first Barnett crossbow the Alpha 410 and purchased headhunter 20 arrows and I love how it shoots and feels its a tackdriver its a great bow for the money and I can't wait for Vermont archery season to start.
I purchased my STR in March 2024 and I’ve taken 2 deer the last 2 seasons with it. It hits in target every time. Small groupings out to 50 yards at the home range with the stock scope. In 2025 I did my first trip up north to Illinois with it and it performed as expected even in extreme cold and crawling through high grass fields in some spot-stalk. Nailed an old timer on day 5. I love the STR and look forward to my son using it eventually also.
I was gifted a stalker 410 for my birthday last year and so like anyone else, I sighted it in and ran to the woods with it ended up killing four deer with it last season! Very pleased with it!! it is pretty quiet! I am running 425 grain overall shaft/broadhead and that seems to be the sweet spot for this bow not quite as fast running heavier, but man does it pack a punch nothing makes it more than 35 with a good heart shot! It is also a very crisp trigger pull and if you upgrade the scope, this thing can reach out there with some real precision
Barnett really needs to make the foot stirrup wider so the our entire foot fits inside. My foot slipped out and the bow busted my moth knocking my front tooth back so far I can’t eat without a straw.
