Bought this after shooting my brother's Excalibur this is my first crossbow and I love it. It's fast and flat shooting on my second hunt I shot through a 8 point buck perfect heart shot. Went through buck busted bone and buried the broadhead in a live oak where I couldn't see the broadhead. Dropped the buck before he could make it 50 feet. Love this bow fast accurate And hits hard.
Have an older ghost 375 crossover that has taken many deer since I bought it. I had such good luck with it I thought I would get the new XPX 420 Barnett with some new technology and I’m very glad I did. Very compact, accurate, and fast. Only took 4 shots to sight in at 20-30 yards. It shoots so flat that you can use the first dot on the scope out to thirty yards. After that you are good at 40 and 50 yards. Nice crank cocking system and pretty light weight compared to other crossbows. Barnett gets a bad rap on some reviews but I wonder if those persons do any maintenance on them or change the string and cables every two yrs. It make a lot of difference. I have had no issues with the two Barney’s I own. That being said everything that is manufactured has a possibility of having issues. Even the higher priced crossbows have their issues so buy what you feel comfortable with and enjoy hunting!!

This is my first crossbow ever and i’m very happy with my purchase. Bow shoots super fast, quiet, and VERY accurate. Included scope is nothing special but it works well, holds zero and has been reliable. I take this thing to the range and I can nail 1 inch groups all day from 25 yards. It’s almost not fun because of how easy it is to shoot accurately. Got my first deer with it this year, it was a complete pass through heart shot from 32 yards. I don’t have anything to compare this bow to, but I can tell you that this bow works exactly how it’s supposed to. I would highly recommend.
Purchased two packages of strobe crossbow arrows at Cabellas. Attempted to sight in crossbow with them about a week later. Upon firing one of the arrows a second time I found the nock to be missing. A second arrow in the bunch of six total would not light up when fired. I contacted customer service and they sent me out a brand new replacement package of three arrows no wuestions asked. On top of this, these arrows are by far the most consistant arrows I have ever used. Amazing product and amazing customer service.
I got mine for $319 and it’s awesome. I ordered the crank for it because I have wrist problems. My center serving is showing a tiny amount of wear but far from needing a new serving. Factory scope is good enough for hunting deer to about 40 yards but you will need a better scope to see the full potential of this crossbow. Give it a good scope and good bolts and you will love it. Big punch coming from such a small compact crossbow. Really surprised how fast this little sucker is. My son loves it, and loves being on armadillo patrol.
This is not my first crossbow but it is the best one I have ever owned. I swapped out the somewhat basic scope that came stock for a larger one adjustable for velocity. Great call; I can put bolt after bolt into a 3 inch circle at 50 yards... though I would prefer a closer shot, it's nice to know how accurate it is. Solidly built, great safety features & fun to shoot. I have fired it about 50 times with zero issues other than the bolts penetrating the target too much & fletching getting damaged.
Been in the market for a crossbow for awhile. After reading reviews and lots of video reviews, I finally decided on the Wildcat Ultralite DC. I found the last one in the area and pulled the trigger. I am very satisfied! This bow is solid, fast and accurate. I don't have a chronograph to confirm the 410fps as advertised. However, the first reticle is dead on at 30 yards with a 20 yard zero. I really like the sled for rope cocking and decocking, ensuring an even consistent draw every time. The decocking feature was a huge factor for this purchase. I only wish it would have come with three bolts instead of two.
The scope mount bases started coming loose after about a dozen shots. I torqued the screws down with a torque wrench and so far no more issues. Good glass, clear view and overall a decent scope IMHO.
The compact design make it easy to maneuver in confined space. Up until this purchase, I've only shot compound bows, for almost 40 years now. Overall I think this is a great crossbow, but this is my first crossbow, so take it for what it is worth.
I like it alot but its not fleece like they said it was supposed to be. Its a cheep sweatshirt I won't buy it again im not happy with it for the cost
I bought one today after looking at it at Bass pro. It's really solid built and narrow. The decocking is a major game winner and it shoots great. You will robin hood your bolts with it I sure did at 40yds.
Impressed with the speed and accuracy. Very happy with this purchase.
