I was gifted a stalker 410 for my birthday last year and so like anyone else, I sighted it in and ran to the woods with it ended up killing four deer with it last season! Very pleased with it!! it is pretty quiet! I am running 425 grain overall shaft/broadhead and that seems to be the sweet spot for this bow not quite as fast running heavier, but man does it pack a punch nothing makes it more than 35 with a good heart shot! It is also a very crisp trigger pull and if you upgrade the scope, this thing can reach out there with some real precision
Just bought a new stalker 410 today and trying to sight it in I finally got it to hit at 25 yards after around 20 shots. Then moved out to 30 yards and it would hit high and left every shot wanted to hunt in morning with it but now I’m scared to try and lose a deer . Have set up many Barnett crossbows before but this one just doesn’t seem to be the same quality as the ones before.
I recently purchased the stalker 410.after about 15 shots the left limb began to split. took it back to academy sports.they exchanged it for a new one. After about 10 shots with practice bolts the limb on the new crossbow began to fracture. After that incident I returned the bow to academy sports. They didn't want to refund my money until I got a little bit mad.i purchased it because I have a barnett raptor 2 and wanted to upgrade. Never had one issue with the raptor but I wouldn't buy the stalker 410

Purchased two packages of strobe crossbow arrows at Cabellas. Attempted to sight in crossbow with them about a week later. Upon firing one of the arrows a second time I found the nock to be missing. A second arrow in the bunch of six total would not light up when fired. I contacted customer service and they sent me out a brand new replacement package of three arrows no wuestions asked. On top of this, these arrows are by far the most consistant arrows I have ever used. Amazing product and amazing customer service.
I got mine for $319 and it’s awesome. I ordered the crank for it because I have wrist problems. My center serving is showing a tiny amount of wear but far from needing a new serving. Factory scope is good enough for hunting deer to about 40 yards but you will need a better scope to see the full potential of this crossbow. Give it a good scope and good bolts and you will love it. I think it should come with 3 bolts instead of 2. Jim Walton I have a bunch of videos featuring this crossbow on my YouTube channel Backyard Broadheads. I wish I had more time to shoot it more.
Big punch coming from such a small compact crossbow. Really surprised how fast this little sucker is. My son loves it, and loves being on armadillo patrol.
This is not my first crossbow but it is the best one I have ever owned. I swapped out the somewhat basic scope that came stock for a larger one adjustable for velocity. Great call; I can put bolt after bolt into a 3 inch circle at 50 yards... though I would prefer a closer shot, it's nice to know how accurate it is. Solidly built, great safety features & fun to shoot. I have fired it about 50 times with zero issues other than the bolts penetrating the target too much & fletching getting damaged.
This bow, hands down beats any crossbow within that price range on the market, Super-fast and drives tacks.
The Barnett Recruit XP seems to overall a good crossbow. Two things the engineer's missed. No way to decock it so you have to shoot a practice arrow every time you come in from hunting. Second thing is the quilter. It is so close to the stock it makes it hard to carry and the arrows are hard to get out of it
Supposed to be universal. Doesn’t fit the rail and too small
For the crank hook.
I’ve had more experience crossbows and this one compares with many of them . Easy cocking and smooth trigger pull with little to no kick .the scope is cheap but accurate . I personally upgraded the scope. in love shooting the Barnett wildcat.
