XP405

This is not my first crossbow but it is the best one I have ever owned. I swapped out the somewhat basic scope that came stock for a larger one adjustable for velocity. Great call; I can put bolt after bolt into a 3 inch circle at 50 yards... though I would prefer a closer shot, it's nice to know how accurate it is. Solidly built, great safety features & fun to shoot. I have fired it about 50 times with zero issues other than the bolts penetrating the target too much & fletching getting damaged.

Have put 100 arrows through her. Took a buck at 60 yards and nearly took it instantly.

Very accurate very good bow, and at an affordable price range for the quality of craftsmanship and performance

I purchased one of these crossbows. I owned it for 6 days and shot it 12 times for sighting in purposes. The limbs started to split/delaminate. Unbelievable, it's not the cheapest bow on the market. I expected better quality out of Barnett, I'll buy a Cross Point or Wicked Ridge next time. I'm unable to return it for a refund to the retailer, so I'm in the process of sending it in for repair to Barnett as they will not refund my money either. I suppose I should be glad they are going to "fix" it, but does someone want to own something that lasted 6 days and 12 shots. I'd rather have my money back and purchase a different product. I looked at a lot of different crossbows and went with Barnett because they have been around a long time and I assumed they built a quality product. It almost makes a person nervous to use/shoot it with such poor quality. Anyway, I'd give it a negative star rating if possible, but it appears 1 star is as low as I can go. My suggestion is to take Barnett off of your list if you are thinking about purchasing a crossbow. You can buy a crossbow for half the money from other companies, it would feel a little better if you only got 12 shots. $50 dollars a shot is an expensive learning lesson.
